PART 1
First attempt I sketched in all the objects, removed the "positive" space areas that needed cleaning up, and progressed from an HB on the edges into a 4B for the cores of the negative spaces, with a little use of a tortillon stump to blend. Glad I didn't use a bike wheel like I originally planned to, the chair backing was enough work without spokes to contend with. Also totally messed up the upper half of the crutch.
Second attempt/angle I used a 4B sharpened well to make more defined edges, then filled the negative space in dark and used a kneaded eraser to brighten the core areas. I think this led to a more readable overall result.
Items used:
- Dinner table chair
- Trekking pole
- Cooler
- Dumbbell
- Paper towel on holder
- Board game box
- Crutch
- Tire pump
- Laundry detergent
- Bike tire
